Equivalent APR puts short-term costs on a yearly scale for comparison. It is not the app's advertised or legal APR. Eligibility and final fees depend on the provider.

How we calculate the real cost

Total cost includes required fees, delivery fees for your choice, required membership divided by your advances per month, and any optional tip you add.

Equivalent APR = total cost ÷ amount borrowed × 365 ÷ days until repayment × 100

The day count runs from funding to repayment. We allocate a required monthly membership across the number of advances you enter. Optional memberships stay out. Tips apply only to apps that let you choose a tip.

“You pay back” is your amount plus all modeled costs, including a membership billed separately. It may differ from the provider's single repayment debit. Standard delivery is not necessarily a free advance.

We use the published fee schedule when available. An unpublished fee means that option cannot be ranked at that speed. Amount limits and delivery times can affect which options appear. Bank compatibility is not verified unless stated.

The payday row is a national cost example, not a local rate quote. Choosing a state changes the state guide only. PALs have a minimum one-month term and appear separately with their own repayment period and maximum-cost assumptions.
